“Youth changes space – a round table for the future of cities and villages” – report from the event
On March 20, 2025, a unique event took place at the K. Kamil Baczyński Secondary School in Radomsko under the slogan “Youth changes space – a round table for the future of cities and villages”, organized by our Foundation, the K. K. Baczyński Secondary School in Radomsko and Spotted: Radomsko as part of the international Nebula project.
This event created a space for open dialogue between young people, local government authorities and local community activists on the future of urban and rural spaces in the context of the New European Bauhaus.
The debate was attended by teams representing Radomsko secondary schools, local non-governmental organizations, as well as representatives of the authorities, including the starost of Radomsko, Łukasz Więcek. The youth presented their ideas on how social and architectural space should change to be more friendly, sustainable and aesthetic.
The dialogue showed how important mutual understanding is – young people had the opportunity to learn about the real possibilities of the authorities’ actions, and local government officials saw how much potential and creativity lies in the youth. Joint discussions are the first step towards developing specific actions for a more beautiful and sustainable future!
The culminating moment of the event was the signing of a symbolic Declaration of Cooperation by all participants, expressing the common will to cooperate in order to create spaces in the city and district that are consistent with the values of the New European Bauhaus.
We would like to thank all participants for their commitment and inspiring ideas!
