Workshops on using the Canva platform as part of the Newcomers@work project

In recent weeks, as part of the Newcomers at Work project, our Foundation had the pleasure of conducting workshops on using the Canva platform for young NEETs. This incredibly useful tool allows you to easily create attractive graphics, presentations, posters, and portfolios – a skill highly valued in the job market.
The first workshop was an introduction to Canva. Participants began by creating a simple “postcard” with their fond memories. This allowed them to learn the program’s basic functions and see the many possibilities it offers in everyday work and studies.
The second workshop focused on self-presentation. Participants worked on preparing a presentation about themselves, while also learning Canva’s features, such as slide animations, searching for templates, and adding various elements. This is a great exercise that helps develop the ability to present themselves and their strengths in an engaging and professional way.
Canva is a tool that can open the door to many new opportunities for young people – from creating a CV and portfolio to preparing materials for a future employer.
