The Fake News Project.EU has been awarded the European Innovative Teaching Award 2025
Our coordinating project, Fake News Project.EU, has won the European Innovative Teaching Award 2025 in the Adult Education category!
Yesterday, a formal awards ceremony took place in Brussels, at which our FRAME Foundation was represented by its president, Marta Kędzia. This is a tremendous honour and confirmation that our work in the field of media literacy for older adults, critical thinking and informed participation in public life is being recognised at European level.
This year’s EITA is themed:
“Civic education – participation in democratic life, shared values and civic engagement”.
Our project fits perfectly with this mission, demonstrating that older people can be active, informed participants in the information world – and that it is worthwhile to create a space where their voices are heard.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all our partners: Ierfop Onlus, FyG Consultores, Association E-Seniors, Škola Pelican, Athens Lifelong Learning Institute, the trainers and participants of the FakeNews&Elders project. This is an award we share together – without you, this success would not have been possible!
