About the event:

The Round Table Talks is a meeting that will create a space for open dialogue between young people, representatives of local government authorities and local activists. The aim of the event is to develop common recommendations for the future of urban and rural areas in the context of the New European Bauhaus (NEB) – an initiative based on three values: beauty, sustainability and community.

Event goals:

✔ Intergenerational dialogue – exchange of ideas and experiences between young people, decision-makers and activists. ✔ Active inclusion of young people – encouraging them to take initiatives and get involved in local matters. ✔ New European Bauhaus in practice – developing local solutions inspired by the idea of ​​beauty, ecology and community. ✔ Networking and cooperation – building relationships between young people, authorities and non-governmental organizations. ✔ Recommendations and commitments – developing specific conclusions that can influence future actions in the region.

Event schedule:

10:00 – 10:30 | Registration of participants and welcome coffee

  • Welcome of guests, integration of participants.

10:30 – 10:45 | Opening of the proceedings

  • Welcome of participants by the organizers.
  • A short introduction to the NEBULA project and the concept of the New European Bauhaus.

10:45 – 12:00 | Round Table Talks – Part I Topic: How can we implement the values ​​of the New European Bauhaus in our region?

  • Moderated discussion between youth, local government officials and activists.
  • Analysis of needs and possibilities of implementing solutions related to aesthetics, ecology and community.
  • Confrontation of youth visions with local government realities.

12:00 – 12:15 | Coffee break

12:15 – 13:00 | Round Table Talks – Part II Topic: What can we do together? Specific actions and commitments.

  • Creating a list of priority actions and ideas to be implemented in the district.
  • Possibilities of supporting youth initiatives by local government and NGOs.
  • Potential sources of project financing.

13:00 – 13:30 | Summary and signing of the “Declaration of Cooperation”

  • Development of a document summarizing key findings and recommendations.
  • Symbolic signing of the “Declaration of Cooperation” by the event participants.

13:30 – 14:00 | Networking

  • Possibility of individual conversations, exchange of contacts and further discussion of ideas.
