Meeting at the District Inspectorate of Prison Service in Łódź

On April 4, 2025, at the District Inspectorate of the Prison Service in Łódź, representatives of our Foundation handed over to Col. Bartłomiej Turbiarz, Deputy Director General of the Prison Service, 800 copies of the handbook for educators and psychologists created as part of the international project The Golden Thread . These publications will be distributed to penitentiary institutions throughout Poland as a tool supporting effective resocialization.

This is an important step towards strengthening post-penitentiary activities and building a safer society . The project “The Golden Thread – Building family ties and parenting skills as a way to reduce recidivism in European prisons” is based on the idea that strong family relationships and the development of parenting skills can realistically reduce the risk of returning to crime .

During the meeting in Łódź, an agreement on further cooperation was also signed between the FRAME Foundation, the Cogito Consortium – Education Center and the District Inspectorate of the Prison Service in Łódź . This is a preview of further joint actions in the service of resocialization and social reintegration of incarcerated persons.
