International training “Harmony in Motion” as part of the DEAP Erasmus+ Project
The FRAME Foundation team is participating in the international “Harmony in Motion” training in Brno, organized as part of the DEAP Erasmus+ Project. The meeting brings together educators from five countries and focuses on working with young people with visual impairments through artistic activities β particularly dance.
Day 1 began with an official welcome from the Czech Pelican team, followed by a presentation of the project and training program. Thanks to creative icebreakers led by IERFOP from Italy, participants quickly made their first connections. The day culminated in a theoretical introduction to visual impairment, led by experts from PRISM.
Day 2 was the morning icebreaker “Find Someone Who…”, organized by the FRAME Foundation β participants traveled in groups around the room, looking for people who, for example, could whistle, recognize Polish pierogi, or perform a magic trick. There was plenty of laughter and positive energy! Next, the PRISM Impresa Sociale expert continued her lectures on vision, and the Pelican team introduced participants to the topic of working with dance in an inclusive context.
We have more days ahead of us, full of practice, reflection, and shared movement β ββall aimed at empowering young people with visual disabilities through art and relationships!
