International meeting of AI in Higher EDU project partners in Łódź

On March 18–19, 2025, the first international meeting of the AI ​​in Higher EDU project partners took place in Łódź, at the City Activity Factory. The project aims to create modern tools supporting teachers in the effective use of artificial intelligence in higher education.

We started by welcoming and interactively getting to know all the partners. Then, there were presentations of individual institutions: FRAME, Škola Pelican, TUC, PRISM Impresa Sociale, Universitatea TRANSILVANIA din Brasov, Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz. We discussed the tasks related to the first work package, including a literature review and research on the needs of target groups.

We also discussed the issues of project management and the schedule of activities, as well as subsequent work packages concerning, among others, training in the integration of AI in education and the creation of a digital repository and guidelines for the ethical use of AI in teacher work. At the end of the meeting, we planned the next steps and established regular online meetings, as well as discussed the details of the next meeting, which will take place in Crete in the autumn.
