Interactive exhibition concluding the workshops in the Ceramic Artworks to Raise Esteem and Employability-CARE project.
On Tuesday, September 10, at the headquarters of our Partner, Łódź School for the Visually Impaired and the Blind, an interactive exhibition was held, concluding the workshops in the Ceramic Artworks to Raise Esteem and Employability-CARE project.
This event was a summary of our year-long cooperation. The participants of our project – Young Ceramicists – took part in two workshop blocks.
The first one covered issues related to self-development, ceramic art and entrepreneurship. It was led by excellent specialists – Ms. Gabriela Walenta – Czerniejewska and Mr. Michał Ziemniak.
The second workshop block was led by the Master of Ceramics Ewa Ber – Entrepreneur running Zbychewka – a ceramics studio.
In the school’s auditorium, we opened an exhibition presenting the achievements of our Young Ceramicists and artists from five European countries. Under the supervision of the Master, the project participants created a sculpture entitled “Sea of Possibilities”, which will permanently decorate the school building. But that’s not all. During the exhibition, invited guests had the opportunity to work with clay. Under the supervision of the youth, preschoolers and first-graders made countless beautiful ceramic works! It was a volcano of spontaneous creativity. 
Teachers who work with children and young people with visual disabilities on a daily basis were delighted with the sensory properties of working with clay. It seems that ceramic workshops have a chance to become a permanent part of the students’ rehabilitation program.

Everyone demonstrated skills, knowledge in the field of working with clay and excellent pedagogical competences.
