How to Perform Well in a Job Interview and Create an Effective CV?
During workshops conducted as part of the Newcomers@Work project, participants learned how to make a good first impression even before the interview begins – that is, right from the CV creation stage. ![]()

In the first part of the workshop, we focused on the principles of preparing a clear and professional CV:
– what to include,
– how to describe your experience and skills,
– what mistakes to avoid (e.g., overly long descriptions or outdated information).
In the second part of the workshop, participants learned the secrets of making a good impression during a job interview – how to prepare, how to answer recruiters’ questions, and how to present yourself with confidence.
We discussed common mistakes such as:
– arriving late,
– lack of preparation,
– wearing too casual a dress or inappropriate behavior.
And also about what helps you land your dream job:
– punctuality and a neat appearance,
– knowledge of the company you’re applying to,
– self-confidence combined with respect,
– asking questions and demonstrating commitment.
