First online meeting of DEAP project partners

The first DEAP project partners meeting is behind us!

We are happy to announce that the DEAP project (“Nurturing Personal Development and Empowerment of Young People with Visual Impairment through Arts Education”) has officially started! Our first partners meeting took place in an inspiring atmosphere full of commitment and enthusiasm.

The DEAP project is implemented in five countries: Italy , Czech Republic , Poland , Sweden and Cyprus . ts aim is to support young people with visual impairments in Europe by developing their creativity , social integration and participation in the life of local and European communities .

Main project goals:

Developing the potential of young people with visual impairments through artistic education.

Strengthening the competences of youth workers and educators in working with this group.

Promoting values ​​such as dignity, autonomy, equality and social inclusion.

At the meeting, the project partners were presented , and we jointly agreed on the tasks for the next three months. . The plans include, among others, activities related to the exchange of good practices , organization of local workshops and international trainings . he project will also result in the creation of open online educational resources , that will help increase the educational and integration opportunities for people with visual disabilities.

We believe that thanks to international cooperation and exchange of experiences we will create a lasting support network , that will be a real impulse for both individual , and social development of young people with visual disabilities.
