Certified Methodological Conference “Teacher, You Are Not Alone! Institutional and Non-Institutional Support for Polish Schools.”
We cordially invite you to participate in the Certified Methodological Conference “Teacher, you are not alone!! Institutional and non-institutional support for the Polish school.”, which will be held on October 23, 2024 at the K. K. Baczyński Secondary School No. 2 in Radomsko.
The modern teacher not only feels the enormous responsibility that has accompanied this profession for centuries, but also often feels overwhelmed, oscillating between huge expectations, formal obligations, and low social prestige. The Ministry of National Education emphasizes that it would like to consistently make the teaching profession more and more prestigious. However, it must be remembered that systemic solutions are not enough here. Comprehensive actions are needed, starting with changing the approach of teachers themselves to the way they work. The modern teacher, operating in the world of information, becomes an educational leader, not a “provider” of knowledge, the availability of which requires a completely different role: a verifier, motivator, facilitator. Many institutions, governmental and non-governmental organizations understand these needs and offer support that the world of teachers is often unaware of. Therefore, meetings are important to convince teachers that in the face of the demands of modern times they are not alone, that support, starting with self-help, already exists and all they have to do is reach for it.
