CARE project partners’ meeting in Wexford

On the 7th and 8th of June 2023, partners from the Ceramic Artworks to Raise Esteem and Employability (CARE) project from Italy, Greece, Cyprus, Poland, and Ireland gathered in Wexford, Ireland to finalize the development of a handbook. This handbook will contain practical guidance and educational lesson plans on the implementation of creative ceramic workshops for young people, especially those with visual impairments

In the coming months, CARE partners will be working on, among other things,:

developing a handbook on the implementation of ceramic courses to enhance the psychomotor skills of young people, especially those with visual impairments

organizing an international training for youth workers, educators, and trainers who will subsequently be involved in conducting practical ceramic workshops with visually impaired youth

The meeting in Wexford also provided a great opportunity to strengthen collaboration among partners and initiate new activities, reaffirming their commitment to closely work with young people and support their personal development and integration through an informal approach to artistic practice and ceramics
