6th European Tourism Forum 2025

🌍 On 20 November, Wrocław hosted one of the most important events in the tourism industry — the 6th European Tourism Forum 2025, bringing together experts, researchers and practitioners from across Poland and Europe. The programme featured topics key to the future of tourism: sustainable development, new consumer trends, innovation, AI in tourism, cultural and religious tourism, and many others.

During Panel VI, Dr Agnieszka Niezgoda, Professor at the Poznań University of Economics and Business, took the floor to present a paper entitled ‘The role of religious tourism in the development of host regions – the opinion of experts from European countries’.

It was in this context that our ReligiTour initiative was presented – an international project aimed at developing expertise in the field of religious tourism, strengthening cooperation between institutions, and creating new, responsible and sustainable ways of exploring Europe’s spiritual heritage.🇪🇺🙏

We are honoured that the ReligiTour project was presented to a group of distinguished academics and tourism practitioners. This is a huge motivation for us to continue working on solutions that combine education, culture and tourism in a modern and socially sensitive way.
